Assam Girls team emerges as Champions of the East Zone Sub -Junior Roll championship, which was held at Tatanagar, Jharkhand.
This two day event was organised by East Zone Roll Ball Association and Jharkhand Roll Ball Association at the JRD stadium. In the finals, Assam girls beat Odisha by 6-1.
In the Boys section, Host Jharkhand beat Assam by 7-3.
Before that, the result of the league matches were as follows :
Assam girls beat Odisha by 8-0, Bihar by 18-2
Assam Boys tied with Chhattisgarh by 3-3, then won against Bihar by 11-1, beaten Jharkhand by 11-5 and then finally lost in the finals against the host.
